This year POST has partnered with Sense about Science and London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to host Evidence Week in Parliament, from 14 until 18 November 2022.

Parliamentarians and parliamentary staff are invited to a programme of public discussions, policy briefings and training designed to share knowledge and insights, and to build new networks. The programme includes:

  • a livestream opening panel discussion as constituents ask their MP and experts about the evidence on issues that matter to them
  • in-person quickfire policy briefings from world experts on topics such as social inequalities and local food strategies
  • bitesize learning sessions with national experts, on issues including evaluating evidence and understanding statistics
