In this seminar, academics present the latest research on inequalities experienced by the LGBT+ community. It also explores evidence-based interventions that can minimise the gap with the heterosexual population. Clinicians discuss the challenges and opportunities in delivering care for LGBT+ individuals in NHS services. A speaker from Public Health England also outlines the latest government research and policy aimed at improving the health of this group.
