POST’s first annual reception also marked the launch of the new social science research team.
On 10th September, POST, in conjunction with the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and University College London (UCL), hosted its first annual reception. It also marked the launch of the new Social Science Section at POST. There were brief presentations from each of the organisations involved in establishing the new Social Science Section at POST to outline why they supported it and what they hope it can achieve: Adam Afriyie MP, Chair of POST; Professor Paul Boyle, Chief Executive, ESRC; and Professor David Price (UCL Vice-Provost (Research). Lord Winston gave the keynote address.
